Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Eyelid Surgery ( Blepharoplasty) – Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
The eyes are commonly referred to as ‘windows to the soul,’ powerful proof of their importance to one’s overall appearance. Unfortunately, excess skin and sagging around the eyes, often due to aging, can give you a tired, old and frustrated look.
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, involves the removal of excess fat and skin from the eyelids. Eyelid surgery is often performed in conjunction with other plastic surgery procedures to enhance overall results.
Dr. Dolsky, in his never-ending commitment to providing his patients with the best results possible, performs transconjunctival blepharoplasty for his Philadelphia area patients. During transconjunctival blepharoplasty, an incision is made from inside of the eyelid, where fat can be removed without visible scarring. Transconjunctival blepharoplasty gives our Philadelphia area patients the benefits of decreased bruising, shorter recovery periods and more precise results. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis with sedation and local anesthesia. Patients can expect to go home bandage-free with only mild discomfort. Our clients can combine blepharoplasty and face lift at our practice as part of a comprehensive facial rejuvenation program. Contact our office for further details.
